Martha was born in 1906.

In 1922 she married Ollis Olmstead and they had ten children:

Martha Olmstead Caribou 78. Died unexpectedly 4-13-1985 at a Caribou hospital. She was born in Tilley, Victoria County, NB., Canada 9-5-1906 the daughter of Joseph and Lydia (Plante) St. Peter. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Woodland and was married to Ollis Olmstead 10-21-1922. Surviving besides her husband of Caribou are 7 sons, Floyd of Greenville, TENN., Dale of New Sweden, Dwain of Wolcott, CT., Norman of Shiro, TX., Maynard of Walcott, CT., Wendell of Plymouth, CT., Rodney of Wolcott, CT., 2 daughters, Mrs. Wilfred (Leona) Levasseur of New Sweden and Mrs. Ronald (Marie) Malm of Wolcott, CT., 3 brothers, Leonard of Perth, NB., Canada, Paul of Vermont and Roland of England, 1 sister, Louise Sullivan of Grand Falls, NB., Canada, 39 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Philip. Burial Evergreen cemetery. ^[2]
